The first stop will be the Hampton Township Pool parking lot. The program will travel to communities where glass recycling has been halted amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Residents will now be able to continue recycling glass this June in part of Pennsylvania’s Resources Council’s “traveling glass bin program.” This initiative comes after 20 South Hills communities Pennsylvania Resources Council PRC will be hosting pop-up collection events where all colors of glass bottles and jars can be recycled free of charge for the public.
